A ìWalk in the Parkî fundraiser to raise awareness for lupus will take place Saturday, May 1, at Longview Park in Meridian Ranch. The 3K check-in begins at 10 a.m. and the walk begins at 11 a.m. The fee for adults is $35 and for youth (age 10-16) $20. There is no charge for participants under 10 years old.Refreshments and water will be provided, along with a goodie bag containing a disposable mask, a lupus awareness wrist band, hand sanitizer wipe, pencil, sticker, sucker and lupus awareness material.
