American Legion Dane R. Balcon Post 2008 will be participating in the 2021 Veterans Day Parade at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 6, in downtown Colorado Springs.On Sunday, Nov. 7, the Legion will be placing flags on veteransí graves in Eastonville Cemetery. If anyone is interesting in helping, go to the cemetery at the intersection of Meridian Road and Latigo Boulevard at noon.American Legion Post 2008 is participating in Wreaths Across America, a program to honor deceased veterans by placing wreaths on their graves on Dec 18. Interested persons can sponsor a wreath for a $15 donation. Wreaths will be placed on graves in Pikes Peak National Cemetery and for the first time at the historic Eastonville Cemetery, which was established in 1865.
