Velvet Hills Show Chorus will hold a Family & Friends performance on Sunday, April 18 at 7 p.m. at Stargazers Theater & Events Center, 10 South Parkside Drive in Colorado Springs (East of Printers Parkway off Pikes Peak). Admission is free; donations accepted.The Region 8 competition for Sweet Adelines International will be held April 30 and May 1 at the Pikes Peak Center, 190 South Cascade in Colorado Springs. The quartet contest is Friday, April 30, at noon; Chorus contest is Saturday, May 1 at 1 p.m. and the Show of Champions is Saturday, May 1, at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 adult and $12 senior/student for contests; $20 adult and $15 senior/student for Show of Champions.
