The request calls for the closing of 21 wells in eastern El Paso County – individual house wells are exempt.Wayne Booker, a long-time owner of a sod farm in Calhan, Colo., and Craig Giesbrecht, who owns Green Belt Turf Farm in Ellicot, testified. Hare said the board reviewed engineering reports and heard more testimony from expert witnesses and attorneys. The board has until Sept. 1 to publish its decision.
