ReVintaged in Black Forest specializes in custom-painted furniture, upcycled furniture and home dÈcor. Owners Jasmin and John Castro, residents of Falcon, started out as hobbyists. The hobby grew into a business, and Jasmin Castro said they have plans to expand and open a few more storefront locations in the next five years.Besides the custom-painted and upcycled pieces, Castro said ReVintaged also takes special orders and sells a unique ReVintaged brand of custom-built furniture. ìWe also offer classes on how to paint furniture,î she said.Every item they sell in their store is hand-made, and Castro said they use non-toxic, 100 percent naturally ìgreenî paint to aid their goal of creating not only good quality pieces but also safe and sustainable furniture and dÈcor.ReVintaged is at 11590 Black Forest Road and is open Tuesday through Friday.
