More than 65 haircuts were provided to customers who dropped by the Unicorn Salon in Falcon one Sunday afternoon in August to participate in a fundraiser for the Colorado Springs Police Memorial Fund. Robin Pretzeus, co-owner of the salon, said they raised $1,190 in four-and-a-half hours.Robin and her sister/co-owner, Rhonda Smith, would like to thank Richard Sealock, a professional singer who donated his time to entertain the customers, Safeway for providing refreshments and all who dropped by to get a haircut or donate to the cause. The CSPD is hoping to raise big dollars for their memorial fund during the campaign. “We’d like to come on board again toward the end of the campaign and maybe our community can contribute the last $1,100,” Robin said.
