Jail is better than living with wifeA 70-year-old man accused of robbing a bank told investigators he and his wife had an argument, and he would rather be in jail than go back home, according to The Kansas City Star. After he robbed the bank in September, Lawrence John Ripple sat in the lobby of the bank and told a security guard that he was ìthe guy youíre looking for.îI love you, but donít touch my friesIn January, 34-year-old Diane Margaret Clayton, from Blackburn, England, had a heated argument with her boyfriend, Simon Hill, over french fries. Each had accused the other of eating all the fries. When Clayton discovered Hill had eaten them all, she retrieved a knife from the kitchen and stabbed her honey in the shoulder. She is in jail now to pay for her crime. According to the defense attorney, Clayton had too much alcohol to drink and also had injuries she couldnít explain.
