Trick or treat: Halloween pranks

Fake lawnmower disaster

For a Halloween scare, a man set up a scene at an empty field that looked like someone had been run over by a riding lawnmower. The body was sprawled underneath the mower, complete with blood. Up close, you could tell it was a dummy but from a distance when someone drove by it looked like a disaster. The police were called, but quickly called off by an observant neighbor who realized it was just a poorly executed joke.

Forgetting he wore a burglar costume
A man left a costume party in the early morning hours and went to a coffee stand, forgetting that he was dressed like a skull-masked burglar complete with a bandanna and an assault rifle, because apparently “liquor-store-robbing spree killer” is an award-winning costume idea. Of course, the coffee stand barista barricaded herself inside and called 911. Meanwhile, the costumed man was knocking on the door, apparently oblivious to his appearance. The cops arrived, but they realized he was just a drunk who was wandering home from a costume party.
