The Exchange Club happenings

April Youth of the MonthMackenzie Isbell from Vista Ridge High School has been named ìThe Youth of the Month for April. Mackenzie, a member of the National Honor Society, is class valedictorian. She is an essay winner for the Rocky Mountain Youth Leadership Conference and has received the Associated Press Scholar Award. Besides her academic achievements, Mackenzie is the All-Conference first team cheerleading winner.The Exchange Club of Falcon recognized Mackenzieís other leadership positions: varsity cheerleading captain, student council president and National Honor Society officer. Other in-school activities include participation in Alphas and Knowledge Bowl. As a volunteer, she works at Penrose St. Francis Hospital, and has been active with the Colorado Columbine Girls State, Race for a Cure, Care & Share, Howl-o-Ween Safe Trick or Treating, Stetson Hills Elementary Carnival and her church nursery. When presenting Mackenzie with her award, Marylou Crabill asked her when she had time to go to school! Mackenzie is looking at pre-med and biomedical sciences at Colorado State University. Her goal is pediatric oncology or perhaps she will be a cardiovascular surgeon!Support the Exchange Club golf tournamentThe Exchange Club of Falcon is looking for golfers for the sixth annual Child Abuse Prevention Charity Golf Tournament, which takes place June 19 at the Antlers Creek Golf Course in Falcon, Colo.
