The Exchange Club Angel Trees

The Exchange Club of Falcon is sponsoring their annual Angel Tree Program, which supports foster children in El Paso County. “We currently work with Hope & Home and the Lutheran Family Services,” said Don Koveliski, president of the Falcon Exchange Club. The program’s goal is to collect toys and Walmart gift cards from the gift tags that people hang on the trees. The Angel Tree locations include the Falcon Walmart, the Antler Creek Golf Club, Farmers State Bank, The State Bank, the High Prairie Library (partnering with the Pikes Peak Library District), Cornerstone Cleaners (Monument), the MITRE Corp. office and the American Insurance Exchange office on Circle Drive in Colorado Springs. “We have several trees for people to get gift tags and provide the toys and Walmart gift cards for us to deliver to the foster agencies,” Koveliski said. “We usually get great participation from our community but want to get the word out more.” The trees will be at the locations from Nov. 25 to Dec. 18. “We will collect these items up to Dec. 15,” he said.
