The British are coming to Falcon to put on a youth soccer camp. From June 20 through June 24, Challenger British Soccer will run a variety of soccer camps at Balcon Memorial Park for children ages 3-14.The costs vary, but children who register before May 6 will receive a free soccer jersey along with the T-shirt and soccer ball that each participant receives. Any family of a participating youth who would like to serve as a host for a Challenger coach will receive $80 toward the cost of the camp.Challenger coaches are selected and trained in the U.K. The Woodmen Hills Programs and Activities Department, which is also running a youth soccer league for children ages 6-11, is sponsoring the Falcon Challenger camp.Registration for the Woodmen Hills soccer league is April 4 – all games are played Saturday, with practice once a week.Challenger British Soccer will put on about 3,500 camps this year in the U.S. and Canada.For more information about the Challenger British Soccer Camp, visit http://challengersports.com or call Theresa at 719-495-2009.
