Dear Editor,I want to express my gratitude for a small miracle and a shining example of human goodness in your lovely part of Colorado. My church group from Topeka was returning home Monday, Jan. 19, from a weekend ski trip. The dust storm sandblasted our bus and separated two windows from their frames. Further travel became impossible, and we limped into Ramah seeking a repair shop, co-op or fire station. Finding none of the above, in desperation we knocked on a door and were greeted by a kind and generous soul.He was a trucker with a ladder and a roll of duct tape. In only a few minutes, he resealed the windows against the gale allowing us to proceed to Limon for further repairs. He refused to take any money and in the best Christian spirit only reminded us to pay it forward the next time we saw a traveler in need. In our eagerness to get home, we left without the name or address of our benefactor. We appreciate his assistance and kindness on that gusty, blustery day. And our thanks to all the good Samaritans of Colorado who day in and day out selflessly make our world a better place without thought of personal gain. Most gratefully,Roger T. AeschilimanTopeka, Kan.
Thank you to a Good Samaritan
