- A 33-year-old Longmont man was arrested for impersonating a cop inside of an adult video store. He said he was an ìage verification detective” who needed to watch copies of the films to make sure the actors were of legal age.
- A 27-year-old male under house arrest decided that not even his court ordered ankle bracelet could keep from burglarizing over a dozen homes around Arapaho County. He was originally arrested for only one of the crimes, but police were able to tie him to the others because of the GPS monitor.
- A Colorado Springs man was arrested after robbing a corner store of money and an expensive bottle of Scotch. Investigators were able to track down the man in less than two hours after the thief showed the clerk his ID to prove he was old enough to drink the stolen Scotch.
