The YMCA at Meridian Ranch held its yearly art show Oct. 9. Quilts were added this year, as well as digital art mediums and graphic designs from Falcon High School. Each school submitted work based on a particular art or artist. For example, the Pikes Peak School of Expeditionary Learning students patterned their work after Georgia OíKeefe watercolor flowers and linolium prints. Falcon Middle School chose sculptures as their medium.Refreshments were available as people wandered the gymnasium taking in all the fantastic art done by talented students.
