In honor of 120 years of service to the Falcon area, The State Bank invited the community to a celebration that took place May 18.CAT Country 95.1 broadcasted live from the event and provided music, pizza and prizes for attendees. Kevin Koenke from State Farm Insurance, Avalar Real Estate Solutions and Integrity First Financial all chipped in as sponsors to provide cake, cupcakes, chips, hotdogs, candy and drinks, said Annette Causey, senior vice president of The State Bank.Drawings were held for prizes donated by the eventís sponsors. The prizes ranged from gift certificates to Sonic, Subway, Culvers and Carlís Junior to a Cutco knife and a signed picture of Troy Tulowitzki, shortstop for the Colorado Rockies.Andrea Johnson and her daughter, Aolani, provided face painting and balloon animals for the kids in attendance.Patricia Kreps, bank president, said she enjoys having community-involved events such as this. ìWe are one of the oldest banks in Colorado, and weíre still a community bank, a family owned bank,î Kreps said. ìIím the third-generation owner.î
