The Lady Bombers, a fourth grade Southern Colorado Basketball League team, won the 2009 championship. Their season record was nine wins and one loss. The team is comprised of 14 youth who live in the Falcon area: Woodmen Hills Elementary – Ashlee Du Beau, Kirsten Regennitter, Makayla McKeehan, Stormie Sutherland, Hanna Diaz, Kayla Heidt, Kyndall Folk, Makayla Villavert and Avery Cegielski; Meridian Ranch Elementary – Jade Odom, Geanna Bent and Kailey Bullock; Remington Elementary – Morgan Metcalf; and Stetson Hills Elementary – Spencer Lindsey.
