The silent auction that was held Feb. 5 to benefit the Falcon Elementary School Honor Choir raised more than $7,400 for the cause. The organizers were pleased with the results. “We are very appreciative to Antler Creek Golf Club for allowing us to use the facility,” said Valerie Cherry. “We’re also grateful to the sponsors who donated items for us to sell.” Cherry also expressed appreciation to the members of the Falcon community who came out to support the choir.Falcon Elementary School Honor Choir is still in need of funds to make the trip to Carnegie Hall in New York City in March. Donations can be made through the choir’s Web site at http://www.feschoir.teamwebhost.net.
