The Woodmen Hills Recreation Center East is hosting a trip to the Pioneer Museum, which includes lunch at the Olive Branch, on Jan. 19 from 9:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. The museum is located downtown in the beautifully restored 1903 El Paso County Courthouse. There will be a Museum Sampler Tour lasting about 90 minutes, which is a great way to find out what the Colorado Springs Pioneer Museum has to offer. After the tour, lunch will be at the Olive Branch (0.2 miles down the street), which is also located in a historic building and has served people in Colorado Springs for more than 32 years. Cost of the trip is $8/residents or $9/non-residents. Lunch is not included in the cost. Register now at Woodmen Hills Recreation Center East to reserve space. Call Theresa at 719-495-2009 with any questions.
