Cub Scouts and Boys Scouts of the Pikes Peak Council will be out in the Falcon neighborhoods the first week of April distributing flyers and asking families to consider a donation of nonperishable food items. Those same Scouts return Saturday morning, April 9, to pick up donations left on porches and deliver the food to collection sites in support of Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado. Donations may also be turned in April 9 between noon and 4 p.m. at Boy Scouts of America Pikes Peak Council office, 985 W. Fillmore (1/4 mile west of I-25 on Fillmore); or at the Care and Share Food Bank, 2605 Preamble Point (1/2 mile east of Powers on Constitution).
