The Educational Opportunity Foundation of the Black Forest is offering scholarships to students who reside in Black Forest. The scholarships target students who need an extra monetary boost to pursue post secondary goals, whether these goals include a trade or tech certificate, a two-year associate’s degree or a four-year college or university degree. The EOF has been offering these scholarships since 1965 and derives support from businesses and individuals in the Black Forest community.High School seniors in good standing, no matter what school they attend are encouraged to apply. Home-schooled seniors and individuals who have successfully completed the GED are also encouraged to apply.Applications must be complete and received by April 8.Scholarship information and requirements are available on the Web site at eof.blackforest-co.com, or from counselors at the high schools, or call Nancy Billiard at 719-495-0292. Scholarships will be awarded during a banquet in May.
