Five years ago, Lee Seigel purchased CRE Motorsports Park, after the previous owner filed bankruptcy; he leased the property where the park is located from the new landowners. Seigel re-opened the park as SBR Motorsports Park. The property owners are planning to subdivide the acreage, and Seigel will purchase the 35 acres that houses the track. Eventually, Seigel said he will expand the track, redo the asphalt and possibly put in a clay or oval dirt track. Food service is in the plans as well.On Oct. 1, Seigel started Fun Day Sunday, which continues the first Sunday of each month. The Fun Day includes unlimited racing between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and a BBQ lunch ó and much more.
