This will be my final article. I had to make the decision to close Falcon Curves. It was not an easy decision. I have many faithful members, but I havenít made a profit in the five-and-one-half years I have owned Curves. This breaks my heart but the women in the Falcon Area donít support a local workout facility that focuses on women. I have given everything I have to keep Curves open. Let me know soon if you need a tax write off. My last day of business will be April 22.I am sorry if I disappointed any of my former members. I was honest with every woman that walked in the front door. Weight loss is a slow process, and strength training, cardio and stretching are only a part of the formula. It takes 30 minutes four times a week working out, walking every day and eating a healthy diet (portion control). There are no short cuts. You have to make the time. Choose your workout facility wisely. You want someone who really cares about you, not your membership fees. Donít choose a facility that does not have staff on duty during the hours they are open. That can be hazardous to your health. The staff needs to be able to train you on their equipment and ensure you are using it correctly. Small businesses in the Falcon Area depend on the community to keep us in business. If you decide to go to Colorado Springs because you may save a little money and time, there will be no small businesses in Falcon. Please help the small business here in this area. We hire local personnel to work for us. When we close, people lose their jobs.Donít be afraid to ask for help. We all need help and encouragement as we go through this life.May the Lord keep you in his hands during this year.
Saying good-bye
