Winners will receive prizes and entrance into the national competition. During last year’s national contest, a cockatoo, a jump-roping Jack Russell Terrier and a bike-riding Rat Terrier were winners in the national competition. For their efforts, the dogs (owners, of course) received $5,000 for first place, $3,000 for second and $2,000 for third.There will also be a “Beyond Talent” category for the most unusual and cutest animal. Ammie Vincent, co-owner of Farmer Jim’s Feed in Falcon, said, “Everyone who owns an amazing animal is invited to enter the competition.
