Santa’s Toy Express

D 49 Transportation Department brings Santaís Toy Express back to town. STE stands for Santaís Toy Express.

Eight-year-old TJ Robinson is just one of 50 Falcon School District 49 students who participated in the Santaís Toy Express. Robinson is battling cystic fibrosis and said, ìI had fun getting to do something for my family instead of my family doing something for me.î

Womack said his favorite part of the day was picking out the presents for his family.
Shiloh Chavez, age 6, tells Santa Claus (Jim DeGeorge) that he wants Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Toys for Christmas. Prior to meeting Santa, Chavez and the other D 49 students, ranging in age from 4 to 8 were treated to breakfast and a shopping trip at Walmart.Kindergarten student Athina Meyers receives her stocking and gift bag from Mrs. Claus (Terry Maloney). The gift bag included a new coat, hat, gloves and other cold weather necessities, purchased with money donated from local businesses and the FHS JROTC.
