Falcon Fire Protection District (FFPD)

Safety Tip:

Seconds count in an emergency, but help can be delayed if address numbers are not clearly marked. Follow these tips to help emergency responders:

  • Address numbers should be easily seen at all times of the day or night, and from all directions.
  • Numbers should be at least 4 inches tall and contrast with the background color. Reflective numbers are easier to see at night.
  • For long driveways or access roads that serve multiple addresses, post all house numbers at the driveway entrance and then post each address at the corresponding driveway fork.
For a $20 donation, FFPD offers signposts for residents whose properties are located within district boundaries. These sturdy signposts are made of all-weather, brown fiberglass with white reflective numbers on both sides. The donation covers the cost of materials, as well as installation of the post at the entrance to the property.More information and forms to request an address sign are available on the FFPD website (http://falconfirepd.org) or at FFPD headquarters, 7030 Old Meridian Road.
