Rumors

Let us squelch a recent rumor: At the November meeting of the FPDL, someone mentioned that School District 49 Superintendent Ron Wynn was planning to leave the district if the mill levy did not pass. In a phone call to Dr. Wynn, he said, “Not true at all. I am completely committed to this school district, and I have no plans to leave.”Good!Another rumor we heard was that the Santa Fe Springs Development had restructured plans for its density, deciding on just 78 single-family homes instead of the 5,370 units previously planned. Not true. Santa Fe Springs has received final approval from the county commissioners – to this date, it is the largest master planned community approved by El Paso County.Historical Facts
