On LoweísStraight from Loweís corporate spokesperson, Maureen Rich: ìWe currently have 22 stores open in Colorado, which include more than 3,000 employees. As part of our nationwide expansion, Loweís is evaluating many potential sites; however, the real estate process can be a long and sometimes complicated one. Itís our policy not to comment about specific sites Loweís may be considering for new stores unless we have closed on all real estate matters. We have not done that in Falcon. If we close on a property, weíll issue a news release announcing information about the store.îItís almost a done deal, however, so weíll wait patiently for the news release.Also, a Loweís manager at a store in Colorado Springs said he heard the Falcon Loweís is slated to open in 2008.Ruby TuesdayísA few Falcon people, including real estate agents, have heard Ruby Tuesdayís is eyeing Falcon.A local Ruby Tuesdayís manager said the corporation is looking at several different locations in the area, and Falcon is one of them. He expects a new store to open by the end of the year.Incorporation rumorsFalcon resident Rick Jenkins has agreed to assume the election official position and put together a balanced election committee.
