Apparently, Santa had a run-in with some bad cookies last year and isn’t taking any chances this time around. He’s bringing along an elf to taste-test everything before he has any, just to be on the safe side.†Needless to say, that elf is getting paid double-time for his extra efforts.Falcon will light up on New Yearís Eve? Move over New York City. The countdown and festivities will begin at the State Bank at 10 p.m. A time ball will drop 77 feet from a helicopter and reach the ground at midnight. Music will be provided by the Black Eyed Peas and the Dave Clark 5.
