The Board of County Commissioners approved the acquisition of right-of-ways, temporary construction easements and permanent easements for the Baptist and Hodgen roads extension.Currently, Baptist Road ends at Roller Coaster Road, and Hodgen Road ends just west of Highway 83. The extension which extend east of Roller Coaster Road and will link Baptist and Hodgen roads and serve as an important east-west passageway in the northern portion of the county.As of now there is no scheduled date for construction.
