Putting together a poker run is not an easy task, but Frank Patton, owner of Frankieís Too, and his team are always up to any challenge. On Sunday, June 24, Frankieís sponsored a poker run to benefit TESSA, the center for domestic and family violence in Colorado Springs. More than 125 bikes and 200 riders showed up to participate. They were greeted with a breakfast buffet, compliments of Frankieís. After riding over 130 miles ñ for the cause ñ Frankie again treated the hungry bikers to a barbecue, complete with Frankieís mouth-watering chicken wings.Donations to TESSA included more than three garbage bags filled with used cell phones, which TESSA uses in their program for victims of domestic violence. The event was a smashing success, and riders had a honky-tonk good time, with TESSA on the winning end. Look for the poker run again next June!
