Larry Stanley, president of Protect Our Wells organization (POW), wants the community to know that, despite what people may have read or heard, POW has not approved or in any way endorsed the Santa Fe Springs subdivision. “In order for POW to approve any new subdivision we need to review their well logs, and they must show that there is at least 300 years of available water,” Stanley said. “We have requested but to date have not received the Arapahoe Aquifer well logs regarding Santa Fe Springs.”POW is a political organization protecting the rights of private well owners. POW’s plans for 2005 include investigating renewable resources of water. For more information on POW, visit the Web site: http://www.protectourwells.org.
