This little girl is about 1 year old. We call her Sweet Pea. She came to us from a shelter in southern Colorado. She was given up because her owner could not care for her anymore. Sweet Pea could not handle the rigors of shelter life and began to wither away. The shelter knew she had to find another place to hopefully thrive so she could continue her journey of finding her forever home. Sweet Pea was very thin when she came to us but has a whole new look now! She is a mix of Chihuahua and Whippet. We do not know if she likes cats. We were told she does well with older children. Sweet Pea is a very fragile girl and needs to be handled with much love and without rough play. She is a totally indoor girl but enjoys being with her people in a very secure fenced-in area.If you would like to meet Sweet Pea and you think she might fit into your loving home, please call SAINT Animal Rescue in Calhan at 719-541-3099.It is always a challenge when adopting a new pet. SAINT Animal Rescue asks the new family to give the animal a reasonable amount of time to adjust to its new family and environment. This is so important to your new family member as well as your existing family members. Visit our Web site at http://saintanimalrescue.org. Thank you for caring!
Please meet Sweet Pea
