Rocky is a 7-year-old Foxy Rat Terrier. This breed makes an excellent family pet. They are good at agility and obedience. Rocky is a true athlete and requires a lot of exercise to be in good form. The Foxy Rat Terrier mix is one of the more popular breeds of dogs and accepts training enthusiastically. They have an inborn hunting ability combined with a high degree of intelligence. The Foxy Rat Terrier is not a purebred dog; it is a cross between the Rat Terrier and the Toy Fox Terrier.Rocky is highly intelligent and loving. He will do well in a home with no other pets and older children. He bonds with his family and becomes jealous of any other pet in his home. He will be by your side from morning to night. If you are a runner and want some company, this boy is for you! He is truly devoted to humans and loves their company. Rocky’s favorite pastime is playing fetch. Rocky’s life expectancy is about 20 years, so he is a young dog by this standard. Without a doubt, Rocky will make someone a good friend for a long time.If you think Rocky would fit into your loving home and would like to meet him, please call SAINT Animal Rescue in Calhan at 719-541-3099.It is always a challenge when adopting a new pet. SAINT Animal Rescue asks the new family to give the animal a reasonable amount of time to adjust to its new family and environment. This is so important to your new family member as well as your existing family members.Don’t forget to visit our Web site at http://saintanimalrescue.org and thank you for caring! Adopt! Save your next best friend!Did you know that all dogs have a strong need to be around others whether it is humans or other animals? If they are isolated from social contact, they can start escaping from the house or their behavior changes in search of attention from the owner.
Please meet Rocky
