ROCK SPRINGSOn Dec. 20, the El Paso County Planning Commission approved a request by Rock Springs LLC to rezone 714 acres from agricultural and rural residential to a planned unit development district. The land is located north of Murphy Road and one mile east of Peyton Highway. The plan for the Rock Springs development includes a maximum of 170 single-family residential lots and 198 acres of open space.EAGLE VIEW EstatesProperty owner Jerry R. Landress has asked the El Paso County Planning Commission to rezone 121 acres located near the intersection of Raygor Road and Arroya Lane from rural residential to urban density 2.5-acre lots. The subdivision includes 38 single-family residential lots.
