A flying adage goes, “Any landing you can walk away from is a good landing.”The pilot of this Piper 180 was not available to comment on whether he agrees with that saying after crashing his plane into this tree just short of the Meadow Lake Airport runway. The crash happened about 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 7.
