These items will be available for viewing in the Briargate Branch art gallery and display case.East Library to present Holocaust exhibitìThe Courage to Remember: the Holocaust 1933-1943,î a traveling exhibit purchased from the Simon Wiesenthal Center, is comprised of a series of 40 posters, 20 of which will be on display at the East Library at 5550 N. Union Blvd. from Feb. 2 through Feb. 28.The exhibit is displayed in four themes: Nazi Germany, 1933-1938; Moving Toward the ìFinal Solution,î 1939-1941; Annihilation in Nazi-occupied Europe, 1941-1945; and Liberation: Building New Lives.An opening reception will be held Feb. 4 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at East Library. The event includes presentations and a book signing by Sara Hauptman, who survived Nazi concentration camps.A free workshop will be held Feb. 13 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the East Library.
