It is a 74-foot, 18-wheel tractor-trailer with the ability to access downloadable eBooks, eAudios, music and videos. Up to 25 people can participate at a time, trying out the latest devices, browsing PPLD’s eBranch collection and talking with staff about how to tap into this resource. The bookmobile is equipped with broadband Internet-connected PCs, high-definition monitors, premium sound systems and a variety of portable media players.
