She developed her collage style by using layers of watercolor paper and colors and rice paper collage. She has earned the purchase award at Art in the Park in St. Joseph, Mo., and her paintings are privately owned coast to coast and in Europe.East Library, 5550 N. Union Blvd.Photographer Al Schwecke will show nearly 30 works of various sizes. His work focuses on nature, and this exhibit themed “America the Beautiful” will feature images of Glacier National Park, Maroon Bells, Pikes Peak and other locations in the West.SENIOR programs in NovemberAARP Mature Safe Driving ProgramThe AARP Mature Safe Driving Program is the nation’s first and largest classroom driver refresher course specially designed for motorists age 50 and older. Upon successfully completing the course, graduates may present their course completion certificate to their insurance agents for a discount. A minimum of 10 students is required for the class to be held. Charge for the eight-hour course is $10. Class size is limited and registration is required.
