With the onset of warmer weather, the Hatfield family decided it was time to finish the home they are building in Peyton for their daughter. As they worked on the house, they found unexpected house guests. A Mama and Papa Raven (aptly named Mr. and Mrs. Nevermore) had built a nest in the roof of the porch. As Kelly Hatfield took the photos, she said mama ìscoldedî her and ìtried to getî her. ìI thought about Mr. Hitchcock the whole time,î Hatfield said. Progress, at least on the porch, was delayed.
