Objects of Affection in Peyton opened Feb. 8, and owner Lani Robertson said business is good. This isnít Laniís first venture as a store owner. She owned a storefront in her hometown of Kit Carson, Colorado; and she had a mobile boutique based in Falcon. Her wares have always leaned toward vintage style and all are handmade.Robertson creates all the soldered jewelry in the store, and also paints furniture that she sells in the store. She accepts select consignment items as well. Water colors, prints, jewelry, candles, home decor and even gourmet lemonade are just a few of the goods that visitors will find at Objects of Affection.Robertson plans to offer art classes and eventually vintage clothing. Objects of Affection is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday through Saturday. The store is located at 13550 Front Street in Peyton. Facebook: search Objects of Affection.
