Both the Peyton and Falcon Fire Protection Districts held an election May 6 to elect members to the board of directors. William Chin, the election officer for the FFPD, reported Dena Bramhall, Mike Collins and Kevin Ray were elected to the board. The number of votes each candidate received was unavailable, but Chin said 201 ballots were cast and five were disqualified, leaving 196 valid ballots.Leon Gomes, the election officer for the PFPD, reported the following candidates were elected to the board: Chuck Burnett received 210 votes, Steve Whitaker received 210 votes, Rob Finley received 236 votes, Dave Stoddard received 149 votes and Jody Heffner received 135 votes. A total of 304 ballots were counted. Seven provisional ballots were not counted.
