Pet Adoption Corner

Pet Adoption Corner: Gringo and Katja

As PYRescue winds down its rescue organization, we will have some repeat dogs in this column who are up for adoption. If you or someone you know can adopt one of these wonderful dogs, visit Pyrescue at pyrescue.org.

August update: Both Heidi and Haley are still available for adoption.

Gringo is a 6-year-old Pyrenees mix. He loves to go for walks and hikes. He is very affectionate and loves treats. Gringo has a loud bark and true to his breed can be protective of his family. Gringo would love a family to snuggle with.

Katja is a 6-year-old Pyrenees mix with a cute, curly coat. Katja was recently returned through no fault of her own. She prefers calm male dogs for her doggie friends; she has been around older children. Katja can be shy at first but loves attention once she gets to know you. She walks well on a leash.

A large white dog wearing a green plaid bandana labeled "GRINGO" sits on a dirt path in front of an open field with distant mountains.
A large, curly-haired white dog stands on sandy ground near a fence, with a pink label reading "KATJA" next to its head.

PYRescue is seeking a few foster homes in the Peyton/Falcon area. If you would like to foster, please send us an email at pyrescueco@gmail.com. Fostering saves lives! We could use more volunteers as well, please apply at PYRescue.org.

If you’d like to help us achieve our mission of finding homes for our rescue dogs, please go to https://pyrescue.org and complete the volunteer form.

To see the complete list of dogs available for adoption, please visit https://pyrescue.org and fill out an adoption application.
