Peak Health and Wellness Mobile IV now in Black Forest

Peak Health and Wellness Mobile IV opened its doors Dec. 1 in Black Forest. Owner Jaison Stover, a registered nurse, provides intravenous hydration infusions for people who need extra help because of illness or chronic illnesses or as preventive medicine. Clients can visit the permanent site or Stover will come to them.

“These days people are more mindful of their health. Living in a dry climate, dehydration is a huge factor when it comes to our health, especially in the older population,” Stover said. He said infusions are tailored to a client’s specific needs. Many clients seek infusions if they are feeling sluggish, recovering from COVID-19 or the flu or problems related to ongoing health issues. “Our service is not limited to the sick,” Stover said. “We also provide tailored infusions for healthy individuals that aid in athletic recovery, detoxification, energy boost, weight loss, migraines and pain.”

One of Stover’s commonly utilized treatments is a Myers infusion, named after Dr. John Myers. The infusion contains calcium, B vitamins, vitamin C and magnesium. The formula is thought to be effective against migraines, fatigue, asthma, upper respiratory infections, allergies, muscle spasms and other disorders. Stover said some clients might need a high dose of vitamin C or glutathione, an antioxidant. There is a wide-ranging menu to meet the varied needs of clients.

Stover began his nursing career in the hospital setting, working in orthopedics, ICU and cardiac and telemetry. He transitioned into home infusion pharmacy 11 years ago when his children were young. “I wanted to pick a part of health care where I could continue in the clinical aspects of nursing and also be involved in other aspects of health care.”

Stover is originally from Maine and moved to Colorado in 2016. His adult son and daughter live in Austin, Texas. He lives with his fiancé in Peyton.

Peak Health and Wellness Mobile RV has scheduled a grand opening for Jan. 6. He said his space is warm, inviting and professional. “I want people to relax. This is a place they can come in, get a great product and take a load off for a little bit.” Infusions take about 45 minutes to an hour. Stover will go to a client’s home if they are sick and do not want to leave their home for treatment.

Peak Health and Wellness Mobile IV is located at 11425 Black Forest Road, Suite 3, next to the post office and general store. Walk-in clients are welcome. The clinic’s regular hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., weekends 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
