During the week, Aolani Johnson attends at Falcon High School as a junior; on the weekends she paints faces at birthday parties and other events. After her mother, Andrea Johnson, sold her party business; Johnson kept the face painting as her own gig.A penchant for drawing led Johnson to face painting. Her favorite animal to paint is a horse ñ a popular request in Falcon. ìThe new thing to paint is the Bronco horse,î she said. Johnson said making the kids happy and watching their expressions as she brings out the paints is rewarding.She said she has other aspirations after college, but the business of face painting and clowning is good for now. Johnson charges $50 for the first hour for parties and $25 every hour after.A Facebook page, where visitors can book parties, is currently under construction, she said.
