Driving along the gravel roads of Hoofprint and Corral Ranch roads south of Blaney Road and north of the Corral Bluffs Open Space, one can see scattered houses and herds of deer. The site will be much different when construction on the Reserve at Corral Bluffs begins next summer. The subdivision will be built out with 31 5-acre lots ó each with its own water and wastewater system. David Jones of Land Resources Associates said gravel roadways will be underway according to county standards this winter. The county will maintain the roads.Jones said the land is adjacent to Corral Bluffs Open Space; there will be a 19-acre buffer between the subdivision and the open space. The property is within El Paso County School District 49, and the developer will pay fees to the school system in lieu of donating land for a school. Current plans also call for a homeowners association to administer the subdivision.
