Matt Inama became a State Farm agent to help people wisely choose their insurance needs and understand the industry. He has a passion for helping people, spawned from a career as a missions and outreach pastor based in the northern region of Indiana. After State Farm asked him to consider an opportunity to become an agent, Inama decided to train for the position because of State Farmís strong reputation as a leader in the insurance business, with ìincredible products,î he said. He opened an office in Black Forest June 1.ìI want to help people understand the complicated world of insurance Ö and answer the tough questions,î Inama said. ìI am a relational guy; I love reaching out to people; I love being a resource for them.îHailing from the Midwest, Inama and his family have lived in Colorado five years. The family, which includes his wife, Christy, and six children, from age 15 to 7 (five boys and one girl), live in Monument, where Christy teaches fine arts (Monument Academy).Inama said he is looking forward to being active in the Black Forest community, which, he said, is more of a community than many other areas. He offers the full line of State Farm products, including residential, commercial, auto and life insurance.In his spare time, the family enjoys the outdoors and the arts.
