John Laing Homes has been purchased by Emaar Properties, a corporation located in Dubai. The transaction took place in June for a little over $1 billion – all cash, according to a news release from John Laing Homes, which is the second largest privately held homebuilder in the United States. Emaar properties is one of the world’s largest real estate companies.
