Last August, Kim and Dave Parsons became the new owners of the Tang Soo Do center for martial arts in Falcon; the previous owner, Samuel Jefferson Frazier III, moved out of state for health reasons. Kim and Dave Parsons are passionate about martial arts and stress the impact the program can have in a personís life, from weight loss to higher self-esteem. Itís an activity the entire family can do together, and they offer discounts for families.Similar to Tae Kwon Do, Tang Soo Do focuses on the art form of martial arts, Kim Parsons said. They have more than 15 qualified instructors and a wide variety of class times available. The program is open to age 3 and above. The youngest at the Falcon location is 7 years old.It typically takes about two to three years to achieve a black belt.
