The El Paso County Environmental Services Department is relocating the used motor oil tank at the Marksheffel Complex at 3460 N. Marksheffel Road. The tank allows residents to safely deposit their used motor oil.For better access and to enhance safety, the tank will be moved to the El Paso County Household Chemical Waste Collection Facility at 3470 N. Marksheffel Road. During the transition, the tank will be closed June 2. It will reopen in its new location on Monday, June 19.During the relocation process, used motor oil will be accepted at the Household Chemical Waste Collection Facility. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. For more information, call 520-7878.
