New food program

A Colorado Springs organization, Food for All Nations, is offering food boxes at a discounted price for the holidays. There is no qualifying nor limits on the number of food boxes that can be purchased. One box of food for $36 feeds a family of four for about one week. The average grocery store cost for the same food is $50 to $60. Food boxes can be purchased for personal use or to give to others.The December box includes the following:

  • Bone-in ham or roaster chicken
  • 3 lbs. yellow onions
  • 5 lbs. potatoes
  • 2 lbs. green beans
  • 1 lbs. yellow corn
  • 20 oz. candied yams
  • 1 lb. frozen cranberries
  • 1 stuffing mix
  • 1 gravy mix
  • 1 dozen rolls
  • 1 pumpkin pie
Order now through Dec. 19. The distribution date is Dec. 21 at 9 a.m. at the locations listed below.
